The atomic structure and electronic properties of monolayer graphene on a curved multi-nano-vicinal Pt (1 1 1) substrate are investigated with low-energy electron diffraction, scanning tunneling microscopy angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy. Despite grows continuously over the terraces step bunching areas, spatial periodicity also varies by varying vicinal angle substrate. This superperiodicity has been evidenced splitting first order spots in LEED from STM. spectroscopy unravels that linearly dispersing π band is affected as opening bandgaps. gaps occurs at intersection main Umklapp bands due to one-dimensional nanostructured energy momentum locations minigaps change superperiodicity, which related Our results show simple way tune epitaxial tuning vicinality.
